Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account — e-mail, password (hashed), phone, language, and the role you signed up with.
• Profile — name, gender, year of birth, photo, description, health notes you choose to add.
• Therapists — service area (map zones and cities), prices, availability and any documents uploaded.
• Bookings — date, time, services, address and phone number for the appointment, notes, status history.
• Technical — IP address, country, browser user-agent, a visitor cookie and a device signature used to limit spam and multiple accounts, plus page-view records.

Why we use it

To run the platform: match customers with therapists who cover their location, show relevant profiles, deliver booking notifications by e-mail, prevent abuse and multiple accounts, and answer support requests.

Who sees what

• Your phone number and exact address are shown to the therapist only after you confirm a booking they have accepted.
• Before that, the therapist sees your first name, last initial, photo, gender, notes and the general area.
• Uploaded documents are shown publicly on the therapist's profile with a watermark.
• The platform team can see account data to operate the service and investigate reports.
• We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a language cookie, a visitor cookie for traffic statistics and a device cookie to limit multiple account creation. No third-party advertising cookies.

Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists. Booking records are kept for accounting and dispute purposes. Traffic records are pruned automatically. You can ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data, keeping only what we are legally required to keep.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to processing. Write to support@therapistathome.com and we will respond.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Sessions can be revoked. Uploaded images are stripped of camera metadata (including GPS coordinates) before storage. No system is perfectly secure — use a unique password.
